Matchbox Smokey the Fire Truck to the rescue! Matchbox Smokey has 95+ phrases and sounds. He dances and sings and he has a cannon that launches blue balls. He is labeled a smart truck, with a cannon sensor, LED lights, motion sensor, motorized movement, cannon and sound activation. There is a button on the back, that you can set either “on”, “off”, or “try me”. You can raise and lower Matchbox Smokey from an upright position, half upright, or down with all six wheels on the ground.

Matchbox Smokey has multiple modes for different kinds of interactions. Depending on his positioning, Smokey can operate in one of two main modes–character mode or truck mode. Matchbox Smokey is in character mode when he is half or fully upright, and says phrases such as, “Smokey here! Reporting for duty!” When Matchbox Smokey is on all six wheels, he is in truck mode and can be pushed forward and pulled backward to activate lights and sounds.
Just like the other Big Rig Buddies Smokey who is a Fire Engine is completely interactive and comes with a fantastic range of cool features from the moment you turn Smokey on he comes alive with engine and siren sounds and flashing blue lights just as you would see on a real fire truck, but unlike a real fire truck Smokey starts to talk and the front grill moves as his mouth which is really amazing, this is the first realistic moving mouth seen on this series.

Using motion sensors and sound activation, Matchbox Smokey is always on alert. He knows how to say over 95 phrases and can sing 4 different songs. He won’t sing every time, so keep raising and lowering him if you really want to hear him. Though he’s always ready to play, Smokey will fall asleep if you leave him alone long enough. Press his lights or push him around to wake him up again!

On top of Smokey you will notice his water cannon, after all he is a fire engine, when Smokey will tell you that there is a fire and you can then use the water cannon which is actually a launcher to shoot out a plastic rocket, kids will go crazy for this. You can actually load up to 3 water rockets and fire them and Smokey will let you know when he is empty so you can reload!

Of course this being a matchbox big rig interactive robot Smokey can also dance as well as interact with your child.
